Job Title: Product & Marketing Content Writer 

Company Overview 

Nomad Media provides a SaaS cloud application for managing media libraries including video, audio, and images with AI that transforms the way that customers manage their ever-growing content libraries. We’re growing our fully remote sales team with our home offices in Newport Beach, CA.

Position Overview 

In the product & marketing content writer role, you will be responsible for creating compelling marketing content that drives customer engagement, acquisition, and retention, while also producing product-focused content that supports users in understanding and using our platform effectively. The role focuses heavily on marketing copy, including campaign content, product messaging, and content strategy, with a strong emphasis on generating interest in our media-based SaaS cloud solutions. 

Product & Marketing Content Creation: 

  1. Product Messaging: 
  • Write clear and concise product descriptions, feature pages, and benefit overviews that communicate the value and functionality of our media SaaS platform to prospects and existing users. 
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure messaging is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the latest product developments. 

   2. Campaign Copywriting: 

  • Write persuasive and engaging content for various marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid ads, social media posts, and landing pages, to attract new customers and drive conversions. 
  • Develop content that clearly communicates our platform’s value proposition, features, and differentiators, tailored to the target audience. 

   3. Content Strategy Development: 

  • Contribute to content strategy by identifying target audiences, key messaging, and content themes that align with marketing goals and objectives. 
  • Develop a content calendar for blog posts, newsletters, case studies, and other marketing materials, ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging across channels. 
  • Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to create and execute content plans that support product launches, feature updates, and brand awareness campaigns. 

   4. Thought Leadership & Brand Positioning: 

  • Write thoughtful leadership content, including blog posts, whitepapers, and articles that position the company as a leader in the media SaaS industry. 
  • Create content that educates potential customers on industry trends, best practices, and how our platform can solve their business challenges. 
  • Develop case studies, testimonials, and success stories that showcase how customers have achieved success using our video solutions. 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in content writing, preferably in a SaaS, technology, or video-related industry, with a focus on marketing content (email, blog, ads, landing pages, etc.). 
  • Writing Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to create persuasive, user-centered content across multiple channels. 
  • Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, email marketing, content campaigns, and lead generation techniques. 
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with SaaS products and the ability to translate technical product features into clear, engaging marketing content. 
  • Customer Focused: Ability to create content that speaks directly to the needs and interests of target customers, with an emphasis on engagement and conversion. 

Desired Skills: 

  • Experience with writing for video products or technology, including knowledge of cloud-based video solutions or streaming platforms. 
  • Experience with social media content strategy and engagement tactics.
