We’re growing our fully remote sales team with our home offices in Newport Beach, CA.

Position Overview
As a Business Development Representative with a focus on partner sales, you will be primarily responsible for driving sales through indirect channels by identifying, engaging, and supporting our partners. You will work closely with a variety of partners such as technology partners, channel partners and VARs to develop sales opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and close deals. In addition to the partner sales focus, you will be responsible for focused outbound campaign prospecting and lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with technology partners, strategic partners, VARs, and referral partners to grow the sales pipeline and ensure partners have the tools and resources to succeed.
Lead Generation and Qualification through Partners: Proactively prospect and identify potential partners, qualify leads, and engage partners through cold calls, emails, and virtual meetings to generate new sales opportunities.
Direct Outbound Prospecting: Initiate direct contact with potential customers through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other channels. Tailor outreach strategies based on industry and customer pain points.
Partner Sales Support: Provide partners with sales support, including product training, collateral, and case studies to help them effectively sell our solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries and resolve any partner-related issues.
Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and track sales opportunities through the CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring the pipeline is healthy and partners are properly engaged at each stage of the sales cycle.
Sales Targets and Quotas: Meet and exceed quarterly sales quotas, KPIs, and revenue targets related to partner-driven sales.
Product Expertise: Develop a strong understanding of the company’s products and solutions to effectively communicate value propositions to partners and their customers.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience in sales, partner sales, or business development in a B2B video environment. Ideally in a SaaS or technology company.
Sales Skills: Proven ability to generate leads, qualify opportunities, and close deals. Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to engage at various organizational levels.
Partner Sales Focus: Experience working with technology partners, strategic partners, or referral networks to drive sales growth. Understanding of partner ecosystems, incentive programs, and sales enablement tools is highly preferred.
Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with video-based SaaS products, cloud-based technologies such as AWS, OCI, and the ability to quickly learn about new technology offerings.
CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), HubSpot, or similar platforms to track sales activity and manage the pipeline.
Goal-Oriented: Strong focus on achieving sales goals and KPIs, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer success, and product, to deliver a seamless experience for partners and customers.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and compelling way.
Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
