AWS Partner integrates fully-managed AI service into its media platform, enabling one-click vertical video for mobile and social distribution
NEWPORT BEACH, CA—February 24, 2026—Nomad Media, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner specializing in cloud-based media asset management and distribution, today announced its integration with AWS Elemental Inference, a fully-managed AI service that automatically transforms live and on-demand video into vertical video content optimized for any platform. As a launch partner, Nomad Media is among the first to make the service’s capabilities directly accessible to broadcasters and streamers through its platform.
Vertical Video, Without the Complexity
Live sports, breaking news, and entertainment events increasingly compete for attention on mobile-first platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. At the same time, broadcasters and streamers sit on growing libraries of on-demand content that could reach entirely new audiences—if it were available in the right format. In both cases, reaching these audiences has traditionally required manual reformatting—separate teams, separate tools, and turnaround times that miss the window when engagement peaks.
Nomad Media’s integration with AWS Elemental Inference removes that complexity. Customers can activate AI-powered vertical video directly within the Nomad Media platform they already use to manage and distribute content—no additional tools, no AI expertise, and no changes to existing production workflows. Whether processing a live broadcast or an archive of on-demand content, the service intelligently follows the action on screen and dynamically generates portrait-format output optimized for social and mobile distribution with 3–10 second latency.

Broadcasters using Nomad Media’s platform already manage input, asset management, enrichment, and multi-platform distribution in a single environment. The addition of real-time vertical video means customers can now produce and distribute mobile-optimized content from the same platform without the need for separate post-production tools or hiring additional staff.
Because AWS Elemental Inference applies AI in parallel with encoding rather than as a post-processing step, vertical content is generated while video is being processed—not after. This enables distribution to social platforms while events are still unfolding, with no reprocessing required.
